Marc van Grondelle is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Global Advantage practice specializing in joint ventures and alliances advisory. Marc joined BCG in February 2022, bringing three decades of global experience in major joint ventures, partnerships and complex consortia, and technology business collaborations. He has a special interest in cross-border venture governance and effective intervention in underperforming JVs and consortia.
Marc's expertise includes creating major high-profile partnerships and joint ventures in cyber, aerospace and defense, technology (AI and robotics), energy, energy transition, industrials, and the automotive and consumer industries in order to drive growth. Marc is committed to helping clients reset underperforming international ventures, delivering effective operational and structural turnaround.
Before joining the firm, Marc was with Royal Dutch/Shell for over 18 years, followed by ten years of global investment banking experience and advisory with KPMG and Lincoln International.
