Marcial González is currently office lead for Boston Consulting Group’s Central America and Caribbean region. Since joining BCG in 2011, he has worked in the firm's Washington, Miami, Santiago, Lima, Colombia, and Panamá offices.
Marcial is responsible for all of BCG’s functional practices and growth capabilities across Spanish-speaking South America, including, but not limited to, BCG X (the BCG unit that conceptualizes, builds, and scales AI solutions) and BCG Platinion (the firm's elite technology and digital delivery group). He also leads BCG’s work in digital business in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Marcial focuses on driving large-scale business transformations. He works closely with CEOs and senior leadership teams to design and implement transformation strategies that strengthen competitiveness in highly complex environments. His work covers transforming core businesses, building new and disruptive ventures, and redefining operating models, technology platforms, and digital ecosystems.
Prior to joining BCG, Marcial served as a Lieutenant in the Chilean Navy for ten years, and later worked in the private sector.
