Markus Weidmann joined Boston Consulting Group in April 2020. He is a core member of the Operations practice and a supply chain specialist with a strong industry background in industrial goods, logistics, postal and express, retail, and pharmaceuticals.
Markus works with clients on end-to-end supply chain planning and logistics optimizations with a special focus on applying (Gen)AI and data science in digital transformations. Before joining the firm, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company for seven years and a supply chain project manager for McKesson Europe, a European pharma distributor, for four years. He speaks German, English, French, Russian, and Spanish.
