Michael Schniering is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Consumer practice, and leads BCG X in Australia and New Zealand. BCG X is the firm’s tech build and design unit. Michael is an expert in business transformations and building new digital capabilities.

At BCG, Michael leads high-impact engagements with consumer-facing businesses, focusing mainly on the airline and consumer industries. He has led several transformation efforts, including in customer experience, channels, and operations to drive better customer experience. He has also led major business-building and new capabilities projects with an emphasis on using new digital, data, and technology as an enabler.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael supported multiple transformation projects in both business and technology in a range of industries including airlines, financial services, and telecommunications. He worked most recently at IBM and Fujitsu Consulting.
