Monika Saunders is a leading member of Boston Consulting Group's Operations practice. She serves on BCG’s global materials and process industries leadership team, co-leading the Operations practice agenda across industries and regions.

Monika works with industrial, energy, and manufacturing clients across Europe and globally, focusing on large-scale operational transformation, cost and complexity optimization, analytics-driven and lean operations, and frontline performance enablement. She supports executives in redesigning operating models and delivering full-potential value creation programs.

With a career spanning Europe, Asia, and North America, Monika brings deep international experience to organizations navigating shifting market, productivity, and resilience challenges. Her recent work includes partnering with multinational industrial clients on end-to-end operational transformations to enhance competitiveness, deploying lean and analytical operational approaches in complex manufacturing environments, and advising executive teams on enterprise-wide cost-and-growth initiatives that balance performance with long-term strategic priorities. She has also supported public-private initiatives focused on strengthening industrial capabilities and economic resilience across sectors.

Monika also contributes to thought leadership on operational excellence, industrial transition, and business model innovation, and is active in developing diverse leadership across the firm.
