Rishi Varma is the North America lead for BCG Platinion and Boston Consulting Group's global lead for Human Resources and People and Organization Tech. He has a unique perspective shaped by three career chapters—technologist, dealmaker, and transformation architect.
Rishi began his career as a software engineer, building systems across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the US, for Citi and Philip Morris. He then did M&A and value creation work with EY and private equity clients. At BCG, where he has been since January 2011, Rishi leads complex business and digital transformations across technology and HR, helping organizations modernize through AI, SaaS, and digital operating models.
As North America lead for BCG Platinion, Rishi is focused on delivering the “how” of transformation. His expertise spans technology-driven transformations, post-merger integrations, and carve-outs across technology, financial services, insurance, health care, and consumer products.
