Ryan Shain is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Health Care practice. His focus on payer/provider topics includes market strategy, transformation, integration and partnerships, and growth across a variety of vectors (such as value-based payment and ambulatory expansion).

Ryan has led numerous engagements transforming end-to-end functions, conducting strategic diligence for partnership opportunities, developing local-market strategies with a variety of game-theory inspired approaches, advising on new market and diversified revenue stream opportunities, and improving integrated care to positively impact patient experience and outcomes.

Before joining BCG, Ryan started a successful e-learning company focused on food safety, and completed independent global health work in Vietnam with the Ministry of Health. He has a published a paper on health reform options in Vietnam.
