Thomas Kingombe, who previously led Boston Consulting Group's Consumer practice in South Africa, has now joined the Industrial Goods and Operations practices' leadership teams in Australia-New Zealand. He specializes in transformations in large industrial/construction companies and FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods), with a focus on change management, operations, organizational effectiveness, strategy, and implementation. He also has significant experience working with clients in both pulp & paper, insulation, oil & gas, construction as well as food and beverage products.
Thomas's industry experience gives him particular insight into embedding new processes and enabling clients to continue to drive continuous improvements in operations.
Prior to joining the firm as a lateral hire in 2014 in Copenhagen, Thomas held civil engineering and business development positions at Skanska, Danfoss, and Danaher. He has more than 20 years of business experience ranging from construction management to manufacturing, with a strong focus on increasing productivity and reducing waste in industrial goods companies.
