Val Elbert is the global leader for Boston Consulting Group's Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice. He leads BCG's strategic relationship with Google, both the advisory and go-to-market partnership dimensions. On the advisory side, Val has led more than 20 engagements over the past two years across strategy, marketing, sales, and operations. On the partnership side, he oversees over 50 joint programs, with a significant focus on AI across industries and geographies.
Val also leads BCG's relationship with a prominent North American telecommunications company, driving major transformation programs in post-merger integration, cost optimization, and operating model redesign.
Prior to joining the firm, Val headed the launches of several innovative products at Verizon Communications as a Director in the Product Design and Development Group. He holds two patents for products he developed while at Verizon.
