The BCG X AI Science Institute Joins the QuEra Quantum Alliance to Move Quantum Use Cases from Concept to Prototype

BOSTON—Boston Consulting Group (BCG) today announced that the BCG X AI Science Institute has joined the QuEra Quantum Alliance, a global partner program created by QuEra Computing, a leader in neutral-atom quantum computing. The alliance is designed to accelerate development and adoption of quantum solutions, and utilization of neutral-atom quantum computers to solve complex computational problems. The collaboration combines BCG’s digital strategy and transformation expertise with QuEra’s scalable neutral-atom systems and application codesign, enabling clients to progress from prioritized use cases to validated quantum prototypes.

As quantum technology shifts from aspiration to implementation, strategic planning paired with hands-on solution development is key to maximizing quantum value and gaining competitive advantage. QuEra’s neutral-atom architecture leverages arrays of laser-trapped atoms and hyper-fine atomic interactions, offering a natural path to powerful systems, impactful algorithms, and a deployment-friendly footprint and power consumption, providing a strong foundation for near-term experiments and future fault-tolerant workloads.

BCG is committed to fostering collaboration with multiple partnerships across business, academia, and government to help strengthen the global quantum ecosystem.

“Quantum is entering a pragmatic phase. Leaders don’t need hype, they need problem-first roadmaps and the means to test them quickly,” said Jean-François Bobier, partner and vice president at the BCG X AI Science Institute. "By aligning BCG’s domain-led strategy with QuEra’s neutral-atom technology and application codesign expertise, we can shorten the path from hypotheses to validated advantage, moving customers decisively from ‘one day’ to ‘day one’.”

“Neutral-atom platforms are designed for scale and for the error-corrected future, but customers also need the right problems, proofs, and partners,” said Yuval Boger, Chief Commercial Officer at QuEra Computing. “BCG’s rigor in strategy and change management, combined with our hardware and codesign approach, gives enterprise innovators, high-performance computing (HPC) centers, and governments a credible way to turn high-value use cases into working quantum experiments today and production-grade solutions tomorrow.”

Through the alliance, BCG X and QuEra will help clients:

  • Identify and prioritize use cases with clear business value, classical baselines, and measurable success criteria.
  • Assess algorithmic fit and complexity, selecting quantum approaches that are technically and economically plausible on near-term and fault-tolerant roadmaps.
  • Plan for scaleup with workforce upskilling, integration patterns, and a glide path to error-corrected solutions.

“We are excited for the BCG X AI Science Institute to join the QuEra Quantum Alliance,” said Adi Zolotov, a BCG X managing director and partner and global leader of the BCG X AI Science Institute. “Our clients are working with us to define their quantum strategy, and through the alliance they can seamlessly work with QuEra to codesign quantum solutions, validated and pressure-tested with hardware optimized for their organization, to achieve quantum value at scale.”

Joint engagements are available immediately through BCG and QuEra. Organizations can begin with a short, structured discovery to align use cases, benchmarks, and success metrics before launching a proof of value sprint on QuEra hardware.
