London, November 7, 2025— Boston Consulting Group (BCG) London has been awarded the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award - the UK Government’s highest recognition of employers who go above and beyond in supporting the Armed Forces community.
The award recognises businesses that demonstrate outstanding commitment to hiring, supporting, and championing those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces. BCG is proud to be a leader in the UK consulting sector for our support of the Armed Forces community, underscoring our commitment to forces friendly employment and the importance of diversity and inclusion in our London office.
Supporting those who serve
Since joining the Armed Forces Covenant three ago, BCG London’s initiatives have had a big impact across each of our different Armed Forces Communities within the firm:
- Recruiting and Outreach: BCG’s military insight programme has engaged over 300 service leavers and military spouses, helping them transition into civilian careers in professional services
- Support for Reservists: As an office we provide 12 months of role protection after demobilisation, 10 days of paid annual training leave, and additional time for Cadet Force Adult Volunteering
- Fundraising and Community Impact: The BCG Military Network has helped raised over £60,000 for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal, helping drive year-on-year donation growth between 2023 and 2024
- Mentoring and Development: Through our cross-office military mentorship programme, we support every member of our Armed Forces community — helping new joiners transition and keeping our growing network of ex-military alumni connected to BCG
This recognition reflects the dedication of our BCG Military Network, our veteran, reservist and military family colleagues, and the wider London office community who continue to champion inclusivity and service.
In an increasingly uncertain world, we are deeply proud to stand alongside the UK Armed Forces community — and will continue leading by example as a supportive, inclusive, and forward-looking employer.
