Alexander Ritschel joined BCG Platinion in 2011. As a core member of BCG's Financial Institutions and Tech & Digital Advantages practices, he focuses on tech and AI in payments, including account payments, cards, and alternative payment methods. In addition, he works on client engagements in core banking modernization, and IT infrastructure and the cloud. Alexander has performed multiple due diligences, post-merger integrations, and other strategic reviews for fintechs, card providers, payment services, and banks.

He is also a core member of BCG Platinion's Banking Leadership Group. At Platinion, Alexander works primarily on all aspects of core banking systems, including implementation, migration planning, vendor selection, and roadmapping.

Before joining the firm, Alexander worked at Capgemini.
