Andrew Claerhout joined Boston Consulting Group as a partner in September 2023 after having served as a Senior Advisor to the firm for close to six years. He is currently a core member of BCG's Principal Investor & Private Equity (PIPE) and Travel, Cities & Infrastructure (TCI) practices.

Andrew brings 25 years of experience investing in private markets, having held senior positions at traditional general partnerships and sophisticated institutional investors. He has expert knowledge in multiple private asset classes, including private equity, infrastructure, and natural resources. He has a proven track record for delivering value for investors.

Andrew has a global perspective, having lived and worked in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, and served on numerous for-profit boards around the world. Notably, he worked for more than 13 years at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where he ran its private equity program in EMEA, its infrastructure and natural resources program globally, and served on its global investment committee.
