As a leader in Boston Consulting Group's Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE), Climate & Sustainability, and Social Impact practices, Ben Morley supports private equity investors in creating enduring value for all stakeholders through the effective integration of sustainability considerations across the investment value chain (fund strategy, due diligence, and portfolio value creation).
In particular, Ben leads BCG’s support of the ESG Data Convergence Initiative (EDCI), a critical sustainability initiative for the private markets, which now includes 500 GPs and LPs among its membership. This has involved advising the GP-LP Steering Committee (on topics such as metric selection), developing a first-of-its-kind benchmark offering (the 2025 benchmark comprises data from over 9,000 portfolio companies, and allows GPs to seamlessly share data with LPs), deriving research insights on sustainability in private equity, and advising members on strategic insights for their portfolios from the benchmark.
More broadly, Ben is a passionate advocate for investment strategies that focus on delivering both financial and social returns and has extensive experience supporting impact investors on a range of strategic topics. Before joining the firm, Ben worked at The Bridgespan Group and Bain & Company.
