Frank Cordes is a core member of the Operations and Health Care practices at The Boston Consulting Group. He leads BCG’s Operations Practice in Western Europe and South America, the firm's biopharma operations team in Europe, and the Global Digital Biopharma Operations Initiative.

Frank joined BCG in 2005. His work has centered on helping clients in the life sciences sector. He has provided a broad range of strategic and operational advice along the entire pharmaceutical value chain; his work has included addressing challenges in research and development, manufacturing and supply chain, and commercial and regulatory issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Frank was a junior research fellow in biomedical sciences at the University of Oxford. His research focused on structural studies of bacterial proteins critical for the interaction of pathogens with their hosts, and it was aimed at the development of novel antibacterial drugs and vaccines. He is the author of 11 scientific publications.
