Lauren Powers is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Principal Investor & Private Equity (PIPE), Travel, Cities & Infrastructure (TCI), and Industrial Goods (IG) practices, and a leading member of the firm's infrastructure investing team in North America. She leads diversity and inclusion and the Women@PIPE agenda for the PIPE practice in North America and is also a career development advisor for the Boston office.

Lauren primarily works with private equity firms and their portfolio companies on both transaction support and portfolio acceleration efforts. She has extensive experience leading transaction-related work (buy-side and sell-side diligence, carveouts and mergers, investment landscaping) and portfolio strategy and operations work (full potential planning, go-to-market, pricing, procurement, organizational/operational model).

Lauren has deep expertise across infrastructure sectors, including transportation and logistics, energy and energy transition, environmental services, and digital infrastructure. She has also led diligence and strategy efforts across a range of industries, including industrial goods, consumer services, and software. Lauren is a core member of BCG’s data center and warehouse automation topic expert teams. In addition to diligence and portfolio work, Lauren has supported private equity clients on fund investment strategy, fund operations, and people and governance topics.

Before joining BCG, Lauren was a Vice President within the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse.
