BCG opened in Australia and New Zealand in 1990, following a merger with Australia’s leading independent management consulting firm, Pappas, Carter, Evans and Koop (PCEK). PCEK had deep experience in solving problems for Australasian businesses, so the firm was a natural partner for BCG. We have grown and diversified rapidly since then and have developed considerable capability beyond traditional strategy consulting, particularly in digital innovation.
BCG has offices in Auckland, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. We form the best consulting teams for our clients, with consultants working closely together from across our offices.

I worked on a complex, multi-part strategy for a major financial institution, entrusted by executives to guide their long-term direction. My BCG team became my second family and we went on many adventures together after work - from wine-tasting on Waiheke Island and running around Auckland’s bays, to going on a longer weekend trip to Rotorua.
