Giorgo Paizanis joined Boston Consulting Group in 2018. He leads BCG’s gaming work and is a core member of BCG’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Marketing, Sales & Pricing practices, with a specific focus on consumer-facing technology industries, including media, mobile, and web-based ad tech.
Giorgo focuses on the intersection of digital growth and gaming, where he helps investors, publishers, and platform owners develop and execute strategies that drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and business transformation. His work spans growth strategy, operating model design, pricing, and the implementation of AI to unlock commercial and organizational value.
In addition to his industry-facing work, he has also conducted over a dozen diligence projects, including several of the largest recent M&A transactions in media and gaming.
Prior to joining BCG, Giorgo was Managing Director at Habbo Hotel, one of the world’s largest online social and gaming platforms, and Director of Corporate Development at Elisa Oyj, where he led M&A and growth strategy for the company’s telecom venture portfolio.
