Johann Harnoss is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Corporate Finance & Strategy practice, and the People Chair at BCG Henderson Institute, BCG’s global think tank.
Johann co-leads BCG’s research on innovation, and is a coauthor of BCG’s annual Most Innovative Companies Report. His client work focuses on developing more effective innovation strategies and operating models to improve clients’ hit rate on breakthrough innovation.
In his previous role as a fellow at the BCG Henderson Institute, Johann studied the future of global talent mobility, innovation, and the strategic implications for global firms. His work has been published in the Harvard Business Review, the MIT Sloan Management Review, and the Journal of Economic Growth, among others. His TED talk on Global Talent Advantage has been viewed more than 1 million times.
