Nate Shenck is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Consumer, Health Care, and Operations practices. Nate works primarily with major retail and health care companies to drive significant strategic and operational change in order to address their most critical challenges and achieve sustainable impact.
Within retail, Nate has worked within the food, drug, mass market (FDM); specialty; convenience; and DIY channels among others. His expertise is in retail operations and the future of retail, including store productivity, product availability and inventory management, customer service and services, go-to-market strategy, retail real estate, and driving change in retail settings.
Within health care, Nate works mostly in the pharmacy industry on topics including operations and workflow, product chain/inventory management, profitability and service optimization, and productivity.
Nate is a member of BCG’s Global Client Team. He previously led BCG's global retail work and the North America Veterans Network. Prior to joining BCG, Nate was a nuclear submarine officer in the United States Navy and a military professor at the United States Naval Academy.
