Paul Catchlove is a senior director for Boston Consulting Group's Transform practice, as well as a core member of the People & Organization practice. He leads large-scale corporate transformations—including turnarounds, restructurings, and post-merger integrations—with measurable EBITDA, cost, revenue and balance sheet impact, in Europe, the US, and Australia.
Paul's experience spans end-to-end corporate transformations, large-scale cost programs, and increasingly AI-enabled and AI-led transformations—upskilling and enabling people and embedding new ways of working alongside the technology. His recent engagements include a $700 million cost improvement program, a profit transformation delivering 1.5–2x EBITDA impact, an AI-enabled operating model redesign, and coordinating the integration management office for a heavy-machinery post-merger integration.
Prior to joining BCG, Paul was a corporate lawyer, admitted to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Queensland. Earlier in his career he was a Catholic priest, and during this time taught at a number of academic institutions. Paul is also a former opera singer, having performed at opera houses across Australia and abroad. In 2023, Paul gave a TED Talk on the importance of reflection.
