Kunal is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions practice. He leads BCG's payments work across Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America is a member of the firm’s Payments and Transaction Banking management team. He's also the global lead for payments Infrastructure segment and has worked extensively across Digital Assets, Digital Currencies and Embedded Finance topics.

Within Payments, Kunal has gained vast experience across all the various value chain components and market participants including acquirers, issuers, regulators, central banks and tech providers. Increasingly, Kunal been leading most of the work globally with Central Banks on topics like Digital Currencies and Payments Infrastructure. In Fintechs, Kunal is very active in transactions and investors space as well as directly advising fintechs across a wide range of topics.

He also works across Retail and Corporate Banking in the UK, US and a number of European markets on both strategic and operational / organizational topics.

Prior to joining BCG, Kunal was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, EY, and Deloitte. He has attended Executive Leadership and Management programmes at The Wharton School and INSEAD. He holds an MSc in Management from Warwick Business School and studied Electrical Engineering degree for his undergrad.
