Ricardo Kennedy is a core member of BCG X, Boston Consulting Group’s tech build and design unit. At BCG X, Ricardo is leading the product development of CO2 FI by BCG, a software product for estimating CO2 emissions and net-zero pathways for financial institutions.

In his career at BCG, he also contributed to the development of FACET, an in-house tool for explainable AI that has since been open-sourced, and led a team data scientists and software developers in a software quality assurance project across all active cases in Europe (ensuring best practices in code structure, git workflow, etc.). He has also led teams of data scientists in creating and deploying machine-learning algorithms for several energy and manufacturing clients.

Before joining the firm, Ricardo was a researcher in theoretical physics.
